East
Room 
"You
really have a one of a kind!" -- Johannah Holleran, Bolton Landing,
New York 
Climb the stairs of your private outdoor entrance to the spacious
East Room. As you enter, you feel as if you are stepping back
in time into a colonial home with its limestone-stained large
structural beams, and gorgeous wide pine floorboards. The East's
beautiful blue/grey color theme is accentuated by the staining
and antiquing of the room's trim, fireplace mantle and panels
and a lovely hutch which has storage space for guest clothing.
Four windows with decorative treatment provide eastern and southern
exposure. A king bed, which converts into twins, is supplemented
by a sofa/daybed which makes into a long twin bed for a third
guest. The room also has a writing desk with a dataport, a hanging
closet and a bathroom with pedestal sink, bidet, shower and
bathtub. A private interior staircase behind the fireplace provides
our guests internal access to The Inn. Finally, there is a pocket
door in the room which can be opened to create a suite with
its neighboring room, the Garden Room.
As with all our guest rooms, the East Room has a private bathroom,
air conditioning (in-season), cable television, a VCR (we have
movies for all ages), AM-FM clock radio/cassette player WI-FI
and a telephone. All beds have special reading lights or side
tables with reading lamps. We also have CD players which our
guests may use in their rooms. Firewood for this room is provided
at no charge.
