Lavender
Room
"We
were very happy to find the real American Hospitality". --
Michele and Claude Robitaille, Quebec, Canada

The
Lavender Room is located at the top of the main staircase.
The bright and airy room has a king spool bed, a chest of
drawers, an upholstered chair and couch nestled into a bay
of windows , and a bright bathroom with shower and bathtub.
This classic New England accommodation, situated in the middle
section of the building, has a northern window exposure with
views of the front garden and a southern window exposure which
fills the room with bright light in spite of towering linden
trees outside. There is a door which adjoins the Lavender
Room and its neighbor, the Sail Loft, which can be opened
to create a suite.
As
with all our guest rooms, the Lavender Room has a private
bathroom, air conditioning (in-season), cable television,
a VCR (we have movies for all ages), AM-FM clock radio/cassette
player, WI-FI and a telephone. All beds have special reading
lights or side tables with reading lamps. We also have CD
players available upon request, which our guests may use in
their rooms.
